How to Use

1. Cut sheet to fit kiln shelf size, unless using pre-sized sheets.

2. Place sheet on kiln shelf.

3. Place piece of art directly on Kiln Liner™ Fusing Release Paper. Fire in usual way.

4. After the glass has cooled, remove from shelf or mold. Kiln Liner™ Fusing Release Paper will lift off the shelf or mold along with glass.

5. Submerge the fused glass in a dunk bucket to remove Kiln Liner™ from glass.

6. Dispose Kiln Liner™.

* Protective gloves and goggles are recommended to be worn when cutting and handling fusing release paper.

Item # FUSTFS205

An easier and quicker way to prevent glass from sticking to kiln shelf at full fusing temperatures.

Kiln Liner™ Fusing Release Paper

Reduce Prep Time
No need to mix or stir the primer. No need to buy, look for or clean an applicator brush. No need to wait for the fusing primer to dry between shelf coatings.

Wait No More.

Just cut Kiln Liner™ to shelf size, place Kiln Liner™ on shelf, insert into kiln and start firing!

Achieve Exceptional Separation
A single layer of paper will prevent glass from sticking to shelf at full fusing temperatures.

Reduce Air Bubbles Kiln Liner™
Fusing Release Paper is porous, allowing air to circulate. This reduces the probability of air bubbles from forming between the glass and kiln shelf.

Reduce Breakage
When shelf primer is applied unevenly, glass may stick to bare or unevenly coated areas during expansion. When this happens, glass can pull apart and break. Reduce breakage risk by using Kiln Liner™ Fusing Release Paper.

Protect and Maximize Kiln Shelf Life
Kiln Liner™ Fusing Release Paper protects and prolongs kiln brick shelf life.

Don’t sacrifice time. Kiln Liner™ Fusing Release Paper will still provide a super smooth finish to your glass object, while reducing time spent on shelf preparation and cleanup.

Other fusing release papers
After firing is complete, Kiln Liner™ Fusing Release Paper can be disposed of easily because it does not break apart after firing like other fusing release papers. Unlike primer, there is no need to scrape shelf clean or remove residue from the back side of your fused glass after firing.

Shelf Primer
Whether you are a hobbyist or professional artist, time is of the essence. Why waste time mixing, coating shelves and waiting for primer to dry when you can simply cut, insert and fire?

“ I am very impressed with Kiln Liner release paper. I have used every method and type of kiln release and nothing compares to Kiln Liner’s ease of use and cleanup. Of course it allows me to easily remove my fused glass from the mold but I love that it stays intact during firing instead of splitting and disintegrating into powder.”
