Olympic 120-volt glass fusing kilns are equipped with tall stands for easy accessibility and each model provides the ability to fuse, sag or slump glass. Olympic 120-volt glass fusing kilns have a lid element and wall element to ensure balanced and even temperature firings. On the 120-volt kilns, a toggle switch activates either the wall element or the lid element when fusing is required. Both elements run through the electronic controller but only one is activated while firing the kiln, to allow kiln operation on 120 volts.

Olympic's 240/208 volt glass fusing kilns have both lid and body elements. Elements in the firing chamber are used to evenly heat the glass piece and the lid element is used when fusing temperature is reached. The Lid Mode Switch Provides flexibility for glass fusing kilns equipped with an electronic controller. This allows the kiln operator two modes of flexibility when firing: 1) When the toggle switch is in the Up position, the electronic controller runs both the lid and body elements; and 2) when the toggle switch is the Down position, the lid element is controlled manually by an infinite switch.

Glass fusing kilns have a maximum temperature range of 1700° F
