BULLSEYE THINFIRE SHELF PAPER is a heat-resistant light weight ceramic impregnated paper that provides excellent separation between kiln shelf and glass in kiln firing applications up to 1600ºF.
Benefits (when compared to more conventional ceramic fiber materials):

1) Glossier finish on the shelf side fo your finished product.
2) Less binder burnout odor
3) Lighter weight for easier handling and storage
4) Easily cut to size

Once fired, removed residue with vacuum cleaner or gently brush dust into waste receptacle. Unlike similar products on the market, this product is not nearly as likely to curl during firing, cause hazing on the edges of your piece and won't leave a residue fused to the bottom of your pieces.

For best results, cut the ThinFire paper a bit larger than the piece you are firing. Weigh down the exposed corners of the paper with scraps of glass or posts to prevent curling during firing. ThinFire Paper may leave a slight haze on the edge of your work if the curled edge is allowed to touch your piece.
